Job Scope & Purpose:
Our Boston based client is looking for a molecular biology scientist with lab automation experience to join their growing team! Primary Job Responsibilities:
Develop and validate new DNA-based assays at the bench
Optimize and improve methods for assembling, manipulating, and sequencing DNA
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to run and implement changes to our end-to-end platform
Analyze data, present findings, and make recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
Primary Job Requirements:
PhD or MS in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field with at least 2 years of industry experience
Experienced in the development of novel techniques for nucleic acid manipulation, purification, or sequencing
Prior successes in scaling up benchtop processes
Strong experience with lab automation
Demonstrated experience in technology development with ambitious timelines and deliverables
