PACE's Environmental division engages in analytical testing and sampling designed to protect the places we work, play and live. We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team to support our Minneapolis location.
Project Manager is responsible for facilitating internal and external communication between clients, laboratory staff and sales staff. Uses intermediate to complex professional and technical knowledge to communicate capabilities, project milestones, updates, delays, and deliverables.
Leadership - You serve as the primary point of contact to clients regarding project updates, issues, deliverables, and scope changes. You also lead client meetings in-person or via teleconference, as needed or as requested by the Account Executive.
Team player - You collaborate and communicate with laboratory staff on project status and collaborate with Account Executives and Department Leads to determine testing capabilities for incoming projects as well as quote changes based on project scope.
Task master - You solve alternatives to project issues, delays, etc. that could impact either the quality or turn-around-time of the results and communicate alternatives, when feasible, in a positive and professional manner with the customer.
Administrator - You update the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) regarding projects status, cost, and client account information. You generate client and department reports in a timely and efficient manner.
Data Driven - You review dashboards/open projects to keep project moving and meet client's deadline. You provide intermediate to complex analysis and interpretation of data results to clients.

Nice to have -
Bachelor's degree in project management, chemistry, or a closely related field; AND at least five (5) years of experience, including experience with specialized or technical programs or operations. Experience in client account management is appreciated.
Work is performed in a lab and office setting. Work is subject chemicals, fumes, gasses, noxious odors and related items in a lab setting
