  • Personnel shall provide professional, technical, and management support services for Safety and environmental administrative, scientific/engineering analysis and studies, technical data support, and data management support. These services are in support of a wide variety of environmental and safety programs discussed below. Personnel shall plan for, facilitate, and assist with various technical and management support services for Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH).
  • ESH is requesting support to review existing ESH program status, prepare technical documentation and reports, measure, monitor, track and trend ESH technical compliance, and provide recommendations for corrective actions with respect to Federal Regulations (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)- 40 CFR, OSHA 29 CFR, State Regulations (Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE Title 26) and Navy Environmental and Safety Regulations ( OPNAV 5090.1D and OPNAV 5100.23G). Personnel shall perform third party audits, develop regulatory checklists, and other technical support in accordance with applicable specifications and regulations.


Job Requirements:
  • The position requires knowledge, experience and capability to perform the following: Develop and execute an Environmental and Safety inspection plan for all facilities and workspaces. This task includes developing an ESH inspection protocol, preparing an annual ESH inspection schedule, coordinating the schedule with appropriate facility supervisors, conducting the inspections relative to all applicable ESH regulations, document the deficiencies, and recommended corrective actions in ESAMS (Enterprise Safety Application Management System), and tracking deficiencies to closure. Access to classified and secure workspaces will require advanced notification, coordination and approval by the appropriate supervisor of the classified and secured areas.
