Job DescriptionContinental Tire has been around for nearly 150 years, we've been changing the way the world moves while making it more safe, smart, sustainable and accessible to all. Our Clinton, MS, location is seeking a Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The ESH Specialist leads safety programs for a dedicated shift. The ESH Specialist will conduct accident investigations, promote safety awareness, conduct safety audits, and support security on their designated shift. The ESH Specialist will be responsible for assisting, conducting, and reporting employee incident investigations. The ESH Specialist will make presentations and conduct safety talks and comply with plant polices, and if necessary, assists supervision in recommending discipline as directed by policy. Essential Functions (in order of job importance): Lead, conduct, and oversee accident prevention, investigation and root cause analysis Lead safety issues and safety programs Conduct safety monitoring Assist in security issues Perform safety presentations and safety awareness talks when and where necessary.
