Responsibilities:

About the Role:

As the Environmental Compliance Supervisor, you will contribute to the stability and development of the Company by maintaining adherence to all applicable environmental regulations governing the industry.

To qualify for the role, the ideal candidate will have proven experience working well with a large variety of people across multiple disciplines. In addition to being an excellent communicator (written and verbal), you will also demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

You will be in a position where you will be working on new processes, and at times, developing and implementing them from the start. Because we are building the bus while we drive it, there will be moments you will be left with little instruction and you will be expected to find answers and develop proposed roadmaps for the best way forward.

What You'll Do

Provide technical assistance for environmental health regulations, environmental management systems, and projects.

Perform environmental compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions with various departments to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Assist the safety and compliance teams in the development of policies and procedures for air quality, hazardous waste, spill prevention, storm water, and wastewater in order to achieve and maintain compliance with industry specific regulations.

Review and assist with the preparation of technical reports and annual permit compliance.

Must be familiar with water, air, or environmental resource protection regulation.

Utilize software to create databases and spreadsheets of collected data, including project management software to help inform project environmental compliance.

Ability to review and draft technical proposals and work with outside consulting agencies on environmental compliance and permitting

Qualifications:

What You'll Need to Have

3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance, monitoring, or natural resource conservation.

Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in environmental science/engineering, water resources, urban planning.

Problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Exceptional skills in various software platforms including but not limited to GIS, Google's G-Suite, Asana, and Microsoft Office.
