Minimum Qualifications
Position Summary
Dr. Bynum Boley of the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management program within the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources within the University of Georgia and Dr. Paul Hindsley of the Environmental Studies program at Eckerd College are looking for part-time employees to help collect data at multiple beach access sites located across these areas: Collier Co., Miami, FL, and Charleston/Folly Beach.
The surveyors are responsible for arriving at the beach access sites in the morning or mid-day and surveying visitors for approximately 5-6 hours a day for 6-8 days a month.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
High-School Diploma
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Non-USG undergraduate or graduate student with a background in hospitality, tourism, or environmental science program.
Physical Demands
Sampling will include being outside for approximately 5-6 hours a day with a variety of weather conditions.
