As aVegetation Management Business Development Manager for Growth Solutions (a subsidiary of Rainbow Tree Company), your primary responsibility is to proactively manage, develop, and expand relationships with current and prospective utility companies that ultimately lead to the sales of our tree growth regulator services. You are ambitious, energetic, inspired by innovation, and are exceptionally skilled at building personal relationships and navigating complex organizations. With a commitment to teamwork, you work well within a cross-functional team and inside of highly matrixed organizations as an influencer. Growth Solutions produces predictable results that reduce pruning needs and improve tree health, transforming how the utility industry is caring for trees in the right-of-way. This is a 50%+ travel position that covers California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. Candidate must reside within the territory. What You Will Do: Enroll utility companiesboth current clients and new opportunitiesinto integrating our Growth Management Solution throughout their vegetation management program Work with our internal team to strategize on accounts and drive business development actions Present educational materials at industry events, to clients, and within our organization Work with the production and customer service to ensure treatments are being delivered as promised and any customer care issues are resolved Ensure we keep our promises to clients and that we are delivering what we said we would Qualifications: 3-5 years of B2B business development or sales experience Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to speak in public to educate and motivate, coach and mentor individuals as well team members Ability to travel at least 50% within the territory being served Preferred Qualifications: AA or BS in Forestry, Biology, or related field 3-5 years of experience in the utility industry or vegetation management ISA certification or willing to obtain (we pay for test) What We Offer: Employee Stock Option Program in our 100% Employee-Owned Company PTO and Paid Holidays 401K Contribution Option with Match Full Range of Benefits available, including Medical, Vision, Dental, Disability, & Life Insurance Advancement Opportunities we promote from within!
