Our client, a world-leading Pharmaceutical client in Cambridge, MA is currently looking for a Associate Scientist / Molecular Biology (Pharma Industry) to join their expanding team.
Position Details:
Job Title: Associate Scientist / Molecular Biology (Pharma Industry)
Duration: 36 months contract
Location: Cambridge, MA

Job Description:
This role will have a strong focus on characterizing mRNAs both in vivo and in vitro to support identification of lead therapeutic candidates.
The ideal applicant will be a highly motivated, dynamic laboratory scientist with hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and analysis of protein expression through ELISA or FACS.
There will be opportunities to learn emerging techniques in in-vitro characterization of RNA molecules.
Job Requirements:
Required Skills:
Mammalian cell culture,
Nucleic acid biochemistry including (but not limited to) cloning,
DNA purification,
Protein expression
Critical Skills:
Molecular biology
Cell culture
Cell-based assays
Soft Skills:
Next Generation Sequencing Analysis
Minimum Education:
Bachelors 2+ years of laboratory experience
MS or PhD, With no exp.
