This Role In Summary:

Whirlpool's Ottawa Operation is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Senior Analyst to join the Mayflower Project team. This role will report to the EHS Manager at the Ottawa plant and work cross functionally alongside plant resources and project resources to deliver the WPI objectives. This role will lead PSM, safety and environmental gap identification and closure of gaps during the BIR project implementation. This role will coach and mentor CIC's as well as create innovative solutions for the implementation of BIR/Oberon at the Ottawa facility, with a focus on SAF and ENV methodologies. This person will be responsible for the safety of the CIC's and the execution of WPI methodology with a focus on Autonomous Activities.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Support WIP loop progression on time and on target

New assembly line to be SAF/WO/LCS Step 3 Certified on the WCM Methodology

Coordinate benchmarking and knowledge sharing activities with Amana, including travel to and from Amana as necessary

Manage the updating of regular score cards throughout the WPI process

Lead projects to correct safety findings as assigned by WPI Manager

Provide clear and timely communication of issues, challenges, and resources needed to meet the timeline defined by the WPI Manager

Consult regularly with SAF & ENV central team resources and the Best Practice Database to ensure the most up to date methods are applied to the project

PSM Management including but not limited to updating all standard work, training, matrix, maps, programs and the RMP.

EHS (Safety) Compliance management of all Whirlpool and contractors involved in the BIR process

Risk Assessments and Predictions to be completed for all jobs on the new BIR line.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

5+ years EHS experience within Manufacturing Operations

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

Experience with a line relocation or new product launch

Experience with updating an Risk Management Plan

Strong understanding of Process Safety Management requirements for Isobutane

Strong Google Suite skills including presentation creation
