Job Details

• A Ph.D. or masters in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Structural Biology or closely related field.
• Substantial experience and a strong publication record in protein biochemistry and/or structural biology.
• Structural understanding of viral proteins and proficiency in a structural imaging program eg. PyMOL.
• Experience with standard biochemical techniques including antibody/protein expression and purification using mammalian and bacterial cell cultures, protein/antibody interaction and 3D structure analysis.
• Experience with chromatographic techniques, including affinity purification using His, GST or MBP tags, as well as ion exchange and size exclusion chromatography.
• Experience with biophysical characterization, protein crystallization, or cryoEM techniques would be advantageous but are not required.
