The Strategic Sourcing Department in the Facilities, Retail Services and Environmental Risk and Compliance Group has an opening for an Environmental Risk & Compliance (ERC) Business Analyst. This position is located at the Boise, Idaho corporate office.

We are looking for: High performing analysts who can seek out, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity, and whose calling and drive is to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist the ERC group by combining data and technology to discern and present environmental key metrics to aid in ensuring compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
Maintain a commitment to accuracy, regulatory compliance, and technical innovation
Partner with ERC members across all environmental programs to develop a rich understanding of environmental risk and compliance
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business, challenging assumptions when needed
Create and implement precise metrics for ERC projects, providing analysis including cost input, major drivers and logistic impacts
Develop highly visual representations of real-time data, trends, and opportunities
Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of status reports on an approved cadence to all appropriate associates
Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation
Assist in the compilation of vendor scorecards and determination of vendor penalties by providing vendor performance data on the accuracy and completion of entries for specific environmental programs
Assist ERC and Strategic Sourcing members with special projects, or any other compliance or regulatory project that would benefit from strategic initiatives.
Project support as required for the department

Qualifications:

College degree (AA, BA, BS) in Computer Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or equivalent degree
2+ years of experience in an analytics role, implementing metrics visualizations such as KPIs and charts
High proficiency with business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, Power Pivot, and Excel; high proficiency with SQL language and database management
Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio and Planner
Proven analytical abilities, including practical experience generating process documentation and reports
Effective problem solving, working well both independently and in team settings.

Ability to foster a mindset of continuous improvement in every process, person and product.
Strong experience collaborating and negotiating with a wide variety of people, both inside and outside the Company, in a professional manner

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills
Strong initiative, creative problem-solving ability and sense of urgency; ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong organizational skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, quality assurance and follow through
Strong customer support and ability to work with cross functional teams

Travel Requirements: None at this time.

Physical Environment:

Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
