Exposures of ongoing interest in our department include air pollution, tobacco smoke, alcohol, pesticides, metals, and diet, as well as various ‘omic' indicators exposure. The study of genetic and genomic interactions with environmental risk factors is also interest in our department. In addition to developing and applying methods to the analysis of complex traits, faculty in our Division also direct statistical cores as parts of large Centers, including our Cancer Center, Environmental Health Center, and Clinical and Translational Science Institute. Our Division administers Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Biostatistics and Epidemiology, and a new M.S. in Data Science.
