Teach undergraduate level courses in forensic science and other science disciplines. Pursue a sustained research agenda, actively participate in FEPAC-related activities, and be involved in the continuous development of the forensic science program at Liberty University.

Minimum Qualifications

Assistant/Associate/Full Professor needed to teach undergraduate level courses in forensic science including, but not limited to- Forensic DNA Analysis, Trace Evidence, and Forensic Entomology. The successful candidate must be able to develop an undergraduate-level course in his/her specialty area as well as teach courses in other science disciplines. Preferred Qualifications

Liberty University's Forensic Science Program invites applications from candidates that hold a Ph.D. degree in forensic science or a natural science degree with forensic science knowledge and experience. Candidates for this faculty position within Liberty University's FEPAC-accredited undergraduate program should also have relevant research/teaching experience in the field of forensic biology as well as a thorough understanding of daily operations of a forensic science laboratory. Experience in human identification techniques, emerging technologies and next generation sequencing is highly desirable.
