This position is in a fast-growing company created to meet the global demand for local climate and weather information to protect and develop assets, and to manage risk in operations. You will work with our exceptional scientific and technical staff, with experience in environmental modeling, impacts, and machine learning will be part of the team deploying models in an elastic computing environment.

Your critical responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Build the infrastructure and pipelines for Jupiter's ClimateScore™ Intelligence Platform.
- Build the Deployment and Development pipelines for our ClimateScore products.
- Standardize AWS development and Continuous Delivery for developer pipelines and workflows using EKS and related services.
- Architect, develop and rollout a robust platform for running containerized services
- Analyze the current AWS ECS setup, development and deployment processes and identify process and platform inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers in Agile projects and deployments, implementing well architected and distributed frameworks.
- Partner with development teams to understand varied engineered and science driven requirements, lead deep technical discussions and negotiations around platform architecture, and provisioning mechanics.
- Build and maintain pipelines using tools like GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Envoy, Jaeger, Prometheus or a combination of Cloud Native Solutions.
- 7+ years working experience
- BS/MS CS or similar
- Python
- Linux and System virtualization
- Cloud native application and system design
- AWS (Azure, GCP would work as well) Services like ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, RDS are a must
- Exposure to building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- GoLang and Python would be a huge bonus
- Understanding of best practices for deploying large scale platforms and services over K8s or similar framework
- Understanding and some exposure to secure application development and deployment on K8s or similar framework
