As a EHSS MANAGER you will be an INVALUABLE part of the site safety staff. Your responsibilities will include oversight of all Environmental, Health, Safety and Security functions across the site. You will also be a member of the Site Leadership Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*
Execute procedures to implement company-wide environmental, safety, health, security, industrial hygiene and loss control programs.
*
Direct compliance programs and assure site compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements.
*
Ensure all pertinent safety policies, rules and regulations are being followed at all times.
*
Provide appropriate coaching and performance feedback to 1-3 direct reports and assure that the same is done for all site employees
*
Develop and execute appropriate strategies for EHSS activities.
*
Develop and implement continuous improvement for EHSS programs and performance.
*
Maintenance of ISO 9001:2000 certifications for businesses by ensuring that all team members comply with processes, procedures and instructions for all activities in which the team participates.
*
Leads the Plant Safety Committee and has budget and management responsibilities for the site Emergency Response Team.
*
Site Representative PSM/RMP, Community Advisory Panel, Emergency Response, Chemical Industry Council and regulatory group (IERG)
*
Maintain waste water system.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
*
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree and multiple years of industry experience.
*
Knowledgeable of all safety, environment and security regulations at the Federal, State and Local levels.
*
Prior experience with waste water operations preferred.
*
Previous people leadership experience.
*
Travel 5-10%
*
*Potential to provide relocation for this position.
