Job Summary We seek an energetic individual to join our established team serving the Texas market, currently from offices in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Houston or Austin. This position could be based in any of these cities. We are a nationwide firm of 800+ growth-oriented Seller-Doers seeking a full-time Senior Environmental Professional ready to take on a senior position as our Environmental Services Practice Leader to grow our business in the oil and gas industry, electric utility, manufacturing, and real estate markets in Texas and Louisiana. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The senior environmental professional will wear several hats, including P/L responsibility, grow the ES Practice, manage staff, and serve as a Seller-Doer. As our Environmental Services Practice Leader you will contribute to our growth by: * Developing new and existing clients * Integrating with other ES staff across the company * Manage and responsible for P/L of the business unit ES practice * Manage and responsible for utilization of the business unit ES staff * Seeking profitable ways to increase ES staff across the business unit As a Seller you will contribute to our growth by: * Playing a leading role in new client acquisition * Collaborating with us as we develop strategies for expanding ways in which we contribute to our clients success * Drafting and reviewing proposals * Enhancing the value of the services that we perform for existing clients As a Doer you will work with a team of professionals, including SCS national experts in various fields, to assist our clients in resolving a wide variety of environmental challenges to include: * Soil and Groundwater Remediation * Brownfield Redevelopment * Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments * Environmental Compliance * Liquids Management Issues * Energy Management * Air Permitting and Compliance Reporting * Hydrogeologic Investigations * Groundwater Monitoring and Reporting Qualifications * Bachelors or Masters of Science in an environmental related science or engineering field required * 10+ years of related work experience required * 5+ years working at an environmental consulting firm required * Business Development experience in the Texas market required * Personnel Management experience required * Project Management experience required * P/L Management experience required * Professional registration (P.E. or P.G.) preferred * Excellent leadership and communication skills * Outstanding client service track record * Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing required At SCS, you will have an opportunity to contribute to our strategic direction, help us continue to grow, and provide our clients with responsive, innovative, high quality client service.
