Overview:
Our Dallas office has a challenging career opportunity for an Environmental Scientist. This position will fulfill the environmental needs related to civil engineering.
Responsibilities:
The main goal of this position is to assist clients with environmental compliance by assessing project-specific impacts and presenting innovative solutions to permitting and other challenges.
Specific job activities include, but are not limited to: wetland delineation, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, mitigation and wetland permitting; endangered species surveys; environmental permitting; NEPA & environmental documentation, and urban forestry and tree inventories.
Qualifications:
BS (required) or MS in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources Management, Forestry, GIS, or related field
Must have 1-2 years of applicable experience
Must be able to travel as needed with frequent overnight stays
Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather. This position frequently requires field work.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
GIS Coursework or experience
