We are looking to add a Operation Manager or Senior Project Manager in our St Louis Branch Office to support due diligence and other environmental projects. Local talent with working knowledge of St Louis regulatory programs and local commercial/residential real estate markets is preferred.
Job Duties will include:
• Manage environmental and due diligence work (Phase I and Phase II ESAs) executed from the St Louis,
• Serve as a technical resource within ATCs Central Region to support environmental and due diligence services for our regional and national client base
• Site investigations for complex Phase I ESAs and large commercial real estate portfolios
• Report preparation and technical review
• Staff oversight and project scheduling/coordination
• Client management and development
• Staff mentoring and development
• Marketing and business development
• Abide by ATC's health and safety policies and procedures
• Project Management and Senior Project Management support for other environmental projects
Job Requirements:
• BS or MS in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or related field
• 10-20 years of experience performing Phase I and II ESAs supporting commercial real estate activities as well as other experience in the environmental consulting profession (soil/groundwater assessment/remediation, vapor intrusion, etc.)
Technical Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASTM) for Phase 1 ESAs
• Working knowledge of rules and guidelines of various regulatory programs in Missouri (USTs, solid and hazardous waste, water and wastewater, air)
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification required
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Earth, and Adobe.
• Experience with on-line platforms for Phase I ESA reporting, such as Parcel
Other miscellaneous qualities:
• Ability to travel 10% of the time including overnight
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Record of success with client management and marketing/business development
• Familiarity with Industrial Hygiene issues such as radon, asbestos, mold, lead paint, IAQ
• A valid Driver's License?
