Metallurgical Analyst
job summary:
A Metallurgical Analyst is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Waterloo, IA area.
location: Waterloo, Iowa
job type: Contract
salary: $19.07 - 31.63 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Associates
responsibilities:
- This person shall be able to operate independently (without higher level support) on all equipment in which they are qualified.
- In addition to analytical equipment operation this person shall have or be able to have the abilities and skills to conduct chemistry controls and testing including production support.
- An understanding of equipment and process to the extent that set up adjustments can be made. This position also has shift to shift communication responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum a 2-year degree in technology/engineering
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office
- Open to entry level candidates who are open to learning

- Previous Foundry experience
