Environmental Health Technician
San Juan Basin Public Health is hiring an Environmental Health Technician . This position provides technical assistance to property owners, contractors, operators, partner agencies, and the public on environmental health matters with a focus on drinking water quality, wastewater treatment, food safety, and indoor and outdoor air quality. The technician will answer technical questions, assist clients with completing applications, receive and document complaints, fulfill requests for records, and enter, assemble, and report program data. The qualification for the position is an Associates degree in business, the sciences, or environmental studies and one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a bachelors degree is preferred.
