Description Two postdoctoral fellow positions in the laboratory of Dr. Yi Fan at the University of Pennsylvania are available at the interface of vascular biology and immunology. The postdoc research projects focus on 1) reprogramming vascular microenvironment to treat cancer and heart diseases, 2) macrophage-mediated tumor immunity, and 3) vascular niche for cancer stem cell function and therapy resistance. Our laboratory has a track record in training future independent researchers.
Qualifications Highly motivated individuals with a PhD degree in vascular biology, immunology, cancer biology, stem cell biology, or a related area are encouraged to apply. Practical experience with molecular and cellular biology techniques and animal models is required. Preference will be given to recently graduated candidates with strong career motivation.
