We recruit top talent and are currently seeking an entry-level full-time Environmental Staff Professional to join our team in Tampa, Florida.

The individual will be responsible for the performance of environmental projects including office-based and field activities. Field activities include: conducting site inspections and assessments; overseeing soil boring and monitor well installations; collecting groundwater, soil, and surface water samples for laboratory analyses; operation and maintenance of remediation systems; and assisting other staff with groundwater investigations. Office-based tasks will include: preparation of reports and data tables; graphical presentation of data; and comparison of soil and groundwater data to State regulatory standards. A significant portion of the individual's time will be spent in the field in all weather conditions and can be physically demanding.

Qualified candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic, and possess the ability to work as a team player. The successful candidate must be able to follow instructions from supervisors and will be expected to work with minimal direction after completing initial training. Periodic travel outside of the Atlanta area may be necessary on a project by project basis.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science required;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong work ethic;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office skills test required; knowledge and ability to use AutoCAD considered a plus;
  • Able to perform moderately strenuous job tasks required to collect sampling data in a variety of building and workplace conditions;
  • Routine lifting required: 40 to 50 lbs.
