We are a developmental stage start up biotech company located in Waltham, MA. We are currently looking for a highly motivated Cancer Biology Research Associate with a strong immuno-oncology background with the willingness to learn new skills. The ideal candidate would need to be comfortable working in a start up environment and have a passion for cancer research.

What You Will Be Doing In this role, you will work on a cross-collaborative team to:
- Perform cell based and ex-vivo assays
- Identify molecules and their functions in diverse matrices, including mouse, monkey, and human tumor and organs (tissue dissociation) and serum samples within cellular biology experiments
- Run assays to analyze proteases activity in different biological samples, including measurement of fluorescent or chemiluminescent substrate cleavage
- Maintain a human tumor sample bank from patient derived biopsy & plasma
- Stay current on and integrate technologies that improve or expand the ability to assay molecules
- Maintain e-lab notebooks to generate weekly progress reports
What You Need for this Position - Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of lab experience
-- Experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical company is preferred
- Technical experience with development, qualification & execution of protein characterization assays
- Cell/tissue culture experience needed
