Research Associate, In Vivo Biology (TEMP)

*NOTE: This is a 6-month temp position with potential to go temp-to-hire*

Experience and education requirements:

• BS with 1+ years of experience in biology or related field (biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience preferred)
• Ability to perform careful data analysis and communicate results efficiently
• Familiarity with mammalian tissue culture and standard molecular biology techniques

Primary responsibilities:

• Perform mammalian tissue culture on the mouse and human cell lines.
• Thaw, expand, and prepare cells for large-scale in vivo studies.
• Maintain a wide variety of suspended and adherent cell lines at once. Plate cells for experiments as requested by other members of the group.
• Perform other cell culture-related duties as required, including cryopreservation, stocking, testing, tracking inventory, and cell culture media preparation.
