Working with the Business Group Lead in Impact Assessment and Permitting, this position offers a great variety of projects, and will see you involved in:

• Planning and leading the delivery of environmental impact assessment and permitting projects in Eastern Canada, particularly transportation projects in Québec
• Overseeing the preparation of environmental protection plans and managing environmental field teams for their implementation at work sites
• Providing creative solutions to fit the needs of our clients, as part of bidding processes, planning, design, implementation and monitoring
• Leading construction management options analysis
• Preparing technical reports, including management plans and strategies
• Leading and contributing to the preparation of proposals and bids for projects
• Coordinating team work and mentoring less experienced team members

What you will bring to the team
• Post-graduate diploma in environmental planning, environmental management, environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or other related area
• At least 15 years of professional experience in environmental planning and construction management
• At least 5 years of field experience in transportation or linear infrastructure projects in urban environments in Québec
• Sound knowledge of federal and Québec environmental legislation
• Excellent inter-personal skills, proven ability for team work (staff and clients) in cross-cultural contexts, with a strong interest for stakeholder engagement
• Proven excellence at all stages of the life-cycle of complex projects, from preparing bids to feasibility studies, data analysis and reporting, as well as stakeholder management
• Demonstrated professional judgement and commercial acumen, including identifying, assessing and solving problems and budgeting
• Robust written and verbal skills in both French and English, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely
• An interest in coaching and mentoring to technically strengthen the team capabilities
