Scientist II (Cell Biology)

Job Description

We are looking for a Scientist II in Cell Biology with broad knowledge in cancer signaling pathways and oncology small molecule drug screening/development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing cutting-edge research programs and will leverage their deep insights and understanding of molecular and cellular mechanisms that drive cancer development and progression to advance our drug discovery programs. The individual will be responsible for reviewing/presenting target proposals, proposing and performing target validation studies, and developing and validating cell-based assays for drug screening, This role supports the oncology pipeline by working directly with the Director of Cell Biology on the overall research program direction, establishing decision-making cascades, aligning on go/no-go decisions, timelines and resourcing required for success.
