Responsibilities are to implement Natural Production monitoring projects (ie. springs Chinook and summer steelhead). Conduct field sampling. Work with limited supervision on the implementation of assigned fisheries projects. With supervisor support, prepare annual operating budgets and manage program financial resources. Prepare annual scientific reports. Train and supervise the work of subordinates and coordinate their activities to ensure contract compliance.
RequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Fisheries Science or a closely related field and three years of experience in fisheries. Project management and supervisory experience necessary. Must be able to analyze data and write annual reports.
