Description of duties The Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Wyoming invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track, assistant professor position in Agroecology. Responsibilities will include 40% research, 55% teaching, and 5% university service. The successful applicant will develop an externally funded program in some area of sustainable plant production research, inclusive of specialty crop research, and will teach classes in the same subject area. Research publications in peer-reviewed journals, effective teaching, and direction of undergraduate and graduate student research will be expected.
Qualifications sought Applicants must have an earned PhD in a relevant discipline at the time of hire. Post-doctoral experience is desirable.
