Environmental Scientist

Description:
This individual will be responsible for site visits throughout the local area in Conroe Tx, mostly driving to sites in Houston with a company vehicle. They will be responsible for site visits, and compiling storm water plans. This project will run until Nov.
This includes development of Storm water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, and related sampling and inspections. The Environmental Scientist will also be responsible for the execution of field work and report writing for numerous SWPPPs and SPCCs up for renewal in 2021. Responsibilities include performance of field activities including but not limited to site evaluations, data collection, and soil, groundwater and surface water sampling activities. The position will require completion of field work at a variety of industrial facilities throughout Conroe and Houston. Thorough and accurate completion of written plans/reports, and excellent customer service to internal/external clients and agencies. The Environmental Scientist SWPPP Technician role will report to the Water Quality Project Manager and regularly coordinate with peers. This individual will report to the Conroe office daily and report to the Compliance Program Manager daily in Houston for day to day operations via email or phone.
