Job Title: Intern-International Project and Proposal Support (CCG)

Department/Location: Crisis, Conflict and Governance/ Vienna, VA

Reports To: Manager

Type: Regular Part-Time

Classification: Non-exempt

Overview: International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a US-based international development consulting company, is seeking an Intern- International Project and Proposal Support (IPPS) to work remotely. This part-time position would be available to start as soon as possible. IBTCI seeks a skilled professional who has previous experience in a similar role.

Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

Conduct research.
Provide proposal support including requests for information, project research, etc.

Provide project support including transcribing meeting notes, formatting documents and graphics.
Source and recruit candidates.
Format resumes
Create personnel bios, matrices, etc.
Prepare project descriptions.
Organize and maintain files both hard copy and electronic

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 6 months work experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment.
Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.

Education: At least 2 years of college education in International Affairs, Economics, Business, English or other related area.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent writing, research and organizational ability.
Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite

Working Environment: Work is typically performed in an office environment.

Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Travel: No travel is required.

Work Authorization: Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States
