Project Environmental Professional Location - Ridgeland, MS EarthCon Consultants, Inc. (EarthCon), a WSP company, is seeking a project-level environmental professional with assessment and remediation experience for a position in our office in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Description Specific duties and responsibilities for the position will vary based on the selected candidate's technical expertise and experience. Typical duties may include some or all of the following: * Develop Phase I site assessments, work plans and coordinate field activities to implement plans. * Perform project management duties, such as develop proposals, manage budget, monitor schedules, and coordinate equipment and materials. * Perform field activities such as overseeing drillers, collecting soil and groundwater samples, hydraulic conductivity testing, implementing remedial pilot studies, overseeing remedial activities and subcontractors. * Conduct field activities in accordance with ASTM standard operating procedures and EPA guidance documents. * Develop technical reports describing field activities and presenting environmental data for projects regulated under CERCLA, RCRA, Solid Waste, and Clear Water Act. * Analyze environmental data to identify trends and outliers. * Prepare and update electronic tables, graphs, and figures. Preferred Qualifications in the following areas but not limited to: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science or a related discipline * 4 to 7 years relevant work experience in environmental consulting * Experience with performing environmental field activities * Experience with developing and completing technical proposals, work plans and reports * Experience with creating tables, graphs, and figures * Experience and proficient with managing budgets, schedules and objectives * Knowledgeable and capable of interpreting guidance documents and state and federal environmental regulations * Proven track record of project management capabilities * Must possess strong leadership and communication skills (written and verbal) * Must be a team player and active participant in internal and external events as well as creative and assertive EarthCon is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
