Seeking an energetic, progressive and dedicated individual to conduct environmental health activities in beautiful Summit County, CO. Primary work responsibilities include inspecting regulated facilities such as retail food establishments, overseeing onsite wastewater treatment systems and testing drinking water. Successful applicant will also conduct complaint investigations involving a variety of topics.
Qualifications
Excellent organizational, time management, risk assessment, communication skills (oral & written) and ability to make professional judgements in the field. Bachelor's degree in EH, Microbiology, Environmental Sciences or related field (30 semester hours in biological sciences). Valid CO driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle. Self starter who can work independently and with a team.
