Job Description:
Environmental Compliance Inspector Monitor and perform environmental inspections to ensure regulatory compliance during the construction phase of the project.

Environmental Compliance Inspector Monitor and perform environmental inspections to ensure regulatory compliance during the construction phase of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations and permitting requirements as they pertain to wetlands, natural resources, cultural resources and land disturbance.
- Experience with Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) standards and Best Management Practices (BMP's)
- Assist with environmental compliance related to waste generated within the assigned segment of the project.
- Perform VPDES/NPDES and VWP inspections and complete associated reports
- Compile inspection findings, interpret observations, develop corrective actions, and track their timely implementation.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of environmental construction and/or inspection experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Construction Technology, or related field.
- VDEQ ESC and SWM Inspector Certification.
- VDEQ ESC and SWM Plan Reviewer certification or ability to secure within 6 months.
- Ability to interpret construction plans and overall design intent.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Skilled in driving change and influencing others.
- Proven data analytical skills and an ability to manage information.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
