About the role: VitroLabs Inc seeks a reliable, highly-motivated and exceptionally innovative cell biotechnologist who will work both independently and with a team on the development of new animal cell lines and the development of novel media formulations. The successful candidate will have expertise in various cell biology laboratory techniques, a solid understanding of cell culture media development, and be able to translate this information toward the development of unique 3D tissue engineering products. About you: You are an experienced researcher with years of experience in cell biology and molecular biology research. Your experience is demonstrated by your accomplishments such as awards, conference presentations, journal articles, or patents. Responsibilities: * Develop and characterize cell lines (from various species) and animal component-free media formulations for 2D cell culture and 3D tissue formation. * Guide and train other members of a team in the field of cell biology and in achieving company goals. * Evaluate new methods, technologies, analytical tools, and processes to independently progress the cell culture aspects of the company's projects. * Follow Good Laboratory Practices and Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to all safety and company policies. * Maintain and update laboratory notebooks. * Analyze data, generate reports, and present findings in a concise manner to both internal and external audiences. Qualifications & Skills : * Must have an advanced degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field or an advanced degree with an appropriate level of experience. * Extensive Experience working with primary cells, cell lines, or stem cells (iPSC, ESC or MSC); design, execution, and data analysis of multiplex qPCR; molecular, cell-based, secretome, and adherence assays. * Knowledgeable in Design of Experiments (DOE), dermal tissue engineering, multicolor flow cytometry.
