Job Description
In this role you will Provides Environmental Health and Safety support to Teva's West Chester site in the management of our programs (Occupational Safety, Air, Water, Waste, Stewardship, External Reporting, Spill Management) and assists with the preparation of Regulatory Submissions.
Core Responsibilities:
Improves safety culture and implements plans and programs that strives to achieve zero incidents, zero injuries and zero environmental releases.
Teams with EHS Managers and operating divisions in the development and execution of EHS management system standards, plans and programs.
Provides risk assessments for processes and activities.
Implements occupational safety requirements i.e. lockout tagout, machine guarding
Input local data in Teva EHS databases.
Provides guidance on Personal Protective Equipment.
Qualifications
What you will bring to this role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental and Occupational Health Studies or a Science related major
- Minimum 1 years of EHS experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Minimum of 1 years experience in technical writing
