Job Description
- Provide general safety, health, and environment (SHE) administrative and technical support as directed by the site SHE advisor.
- Build spreadsheets and technical writing, emails, and interaction with company employees to address directed SHE compliance assurance tasks.
- Provide support as requested by the site SHE Advisor for action items related to change management, incident investigation, ergonomic assessments, contractor safety, and operations transition planning.
- Engage with employees on incident investigations, document efforts, and corrective action status.
- Gather and communicate chemical information and address action items resulting from new chemicals.
- Maintain accurate files, records, and logs of site activities.
- Comply with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures.
- Support process of managing contractor visits and assist with contractor safety processes.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Excellent interpersonal engagement and communication skills.
- Excellent writing and calculation skills.
- Knowledge of chemistry and competent in the use of Microsoft Office software.
- Some basic awareness of safety in the business environment.
- Some background in environmental, safety, or industrial hygiene or a candidate pursuing a degree in an environmental science, fire safety, or related field would be beneficial.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Graduation: 2023 or 2024
