Our client, a world-leading Pharmaceutical Company in Thousand Oaks, CA is currently looking for a Associate Scientist (Cell Culture, Protein Analysis, Molecular Biology) / Pharma Industry to join their expanding team.
Position Details:
Job Title: Associate Scientist (Cell Culture, Protein Analysis, Molecular Biology) / Pharma Industry
Duration: 6 months contract, extendable up to 36 months
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
Note:
The client has the right-to-hire you as a permanent employee at any time during or after the end of the contract.

To perform experiments, organize data and analyze results under minimal supervision. With minimal supervision, plans, conducts or monitors experiments, records and organizes data, analyses results, generates robust and reliable data and/or ensures that contracted studies are conducted in compliance with the respective protocol and applicable guidelines and regulations.
Job Requirements:
Requirement:
Bachelors' degree & 2 YOE
Extensive hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, transient transfection and stable cell line generation.
Proficiencies in protein expression analysis, such as SDS-PAGE, Western blotting.
Proficiencies in Molecular Biology such as DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, qRT-PCR.
Master's degree in Biology related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work flexibly in a dynamic and collaborative environment
Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
Mammalian expression, such as host cell culture, transient transfection, stable cell line generation
Protein expression analysis, such as SDS-PAGE, Western blotting
Molecular biology such as DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, qRT-PCR
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Produce large molecule therapeutics from early stage screening through material supply in manufacturability assessments along with pre-clinical studies.
Develop technologies to optimize large molecule therapeutics expression.
