The Ardurra Ecological Services Group is involved with a wide range of projects for many different clients within the greater Tampa Bay area and throughout Florida. We conduct ecological evaluations, wildlife surveys, wetland delineations and habitat monitoring. Ardurra scientists develop ground and surface water monitoring plans and we collect water level and quality data. We develop management plans for protection and mitigation of state and federal listed species and their habitats. Besides conducting these activities in support of commercial and residential development projects, Ardurra provides environmental support, including permitting through federal, state and local regulatory agencies for public sector projects such as utility lines, water treatment plants and solid waste facilities. Ardurra is one of the few consulting companies in Florida that has specialized in providing ecosystem and habitat restoration design services for local governments and state agencies including the Southwest Florida Water Management District and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission who manage large properties on state lands. Our ecologists conduct nesting surveys for protected bird species as well as population surveys for reptiles including the state-listed gopher tortoise. We have FWC Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agents on staff who are permitted to secure FWC permits and to supervise relocation of gopher tortoises from development sites to state-permitted preserves. At Ardurra, we believe in training our professional staff to be proficient in a variety of skills and activities. This philosophy keeps things interesting for our ecologists and creates a stronger, more efficient team.
