Manpower is seeking candidates for a Senior Safety & Environmental Services Manager opening.
This is a permanent, full time position with a major company in the area.
This position will implement and administer a comprehensive safety management system and environmental program for the customer.
Duties include, but will not be limited to:
• Manage SMS activities to achieve safety and environmental goals
• Oversee and/or performs safety audits, inspections, and testing in the areas of fire/life safety, safety certifications, and transit operations
• Ensure safe equipment operation and working conditions
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations
• Promote the reduction or elimination of occupational accidents, injuries, and financial losses
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, Environmental Safety and Health or a closely related field and seven years of experience
-Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and corresponding medical certification and endorsements, or ability to obtain within 180-days of employment
-Federal Transit Administration Transit Safety and Security Program (TSSP) Certificate
-WSDOL CDL Third Party Examiner Certification
-First Aid and CPR certification; or ability to obtain within 180-days of employment
-Valid driver's license
