Our company provides air quality and environmental services and has assisted over 500 clients with their air quality and environmental compliance, engineering, and permitting issues. We efficiently aid governmental and industrial clients with complex environmental regulations issued by local, state, and federal agencies. Our staff of engineers specialize in Air Quality, Waste, Water, CEQA, and Safety.

We are seeking an Industrial Hygienist Consultant to join our team! This is an experienced senior level position working under general supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments.
  • Design policies and procedures to ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Design programs to prevent disease or injury to workers and environmental damage.
  • Analyze regulatory required compliance and technical issues.
  • Communicate analyses with clients, peers, and with regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance regarding health, safety, and environmental policies for clients, including local, state, and federal level regulations.
  • Mentor and train staff and perform peer reviews for junior-level staff.


Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience as an Industrial Hygienist or Environmental Health and Safety Professional.
  • Bachelors degree in Public Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or relevant field.
  • CIH certification.
  • CSP certification, preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
  • Able to perform safety, environmental, or occupational health inspections.
  • Experience developing and supporting an HSE Management System.
  • Experience with various EH&S services (job hazard analyses, personal protective equipment, OSHA regulations, ISO 140001, industrial hygiene monitoring and reporting, ergonomics, etc.).
  • Experience in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Illness and Injury Prevention Plans (IIPP), and new regulation training.
  • Extensive experience with process, manufacturing, and other industrial facilities.
  • Technical expertise in Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
