Job Description Summary
Under general supervision of the department manager, completes operational compliance requirements identified through regulatory requirements and/or Lamb Weston Corporate Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability Requirements. This position is also responsible for assisting in the site's annual development of the Sustainability Program and providing oversight and monthly reporting of all data metrics through Corporate Standards.
Responsible for coordinating and reporting key compliance metrics as well as sustainability data and target to goals with the facility operational teams. Responsible for developing workplans with the Production, Sanitation and Maintenance Teams through Project Velocity Pillar Teams.
Responsible for verifying operational compliance requirements related to equipment and production processes are met, data collection to support regulatory reporting and supporting the Environmental Manager in routine and/or non-routine reporting and coor dination with agency officials.

Job Description

People Development Responsibilities:
coaching/mentoring operational teams regarding EHS&S program requirements.
Alignment/standardization to corporate standards
Ensure all facility staff receive appropriate environmental training.
Active member representing Environmental for Project Velocity and supporting all site Pillar Teams.

Program Responsibilities:
Represents LW internally & externally as needed by the Environmental Manager.
Consistent implementation of LW Corp. Policies/Standards
Monitors and communicates impending regulatory changes to the Operational Teams in coordination with Environmental Manager
Reports Environmental and Sustainability performance to the Operational Teams. Participates with the Environmental Manager to provide planning and direction to meet Environmental and Sustainability annual goals.
Manage Environmental and Sustainability workstreams through Company Information Management System (Enablon)
As a member of the EHS&S Pillar, assist in the development and implementation of Environmental Key Concepts Program
As a member of the EHS&S Pillar, assist in the development of the Daily Risk Assessment (DRA)
As a member of the EHS&S Pillar, assist in the Behavior Observations Program
Support the site's Environmental Core and Non-Core Environmental Program Management Requirements
Continuously update and evaluate the Lamb Weston Quincy Facility Risk Register through various programs and Pillar Team functions.
Through Daily Risk Assessment and Risk Register, identify and evaluate risk that are to be included in the Corrective and Preventive Action Program (CAPA)

Job Qualifications
Degree in Environmental Science or related field (Engineering, Biology or Chemistry)
2-4 years education or work experience in the environmental/engineering field
knowledge of environmental regulations and the impact on the food manufacturing industry
Good leadership skills
Good presentation skills
Experience with developing engineering scope for new equipment or processes to fulfill compliance needs and/or sustainability performance.
Experience and/or understanding of data collection, sampling, monitoring, and testing and reporting processes related to environmental compliance, equipment performance and efficiencies.
Experience and ability to evaluate production processes as it relates to impending or newly effective regulatory and/or permitting requirement
