Computational Biologist Based in Alameda, CA, we are an extremely well funded, small/mid-size startup focused on the development of next-generation CRISPR molecules for genetic disease! What You Will Be Doing -Be our in-house expert on building off target predictions
-Develop algorithms and statistical inference to further understand our high-throughput screening systems
-Use high through-put and high-dimensional data to generate data visualizations
-Maintain and also develop version-controlled code base, and help train current staff
What You Need for this Position -PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or similar
-Experience with...
-Python, bioinformatic toolkits, and preferred experience with snakemake and Git
-Handling/analyzing NGS data for genomics
-Huge plus if you are familiar with CRISPR, RNA structure, and other NGS platforms
