Job Description As a valued colleague on our team based in our Plano, TX office, you will provide expert advice and team guidance on managing several projects and/or products to meet organizational goals pertaining to Fannie Mae's strategic objectives around affordable housing and ESG. In this role, you will create and implement a vision that guides the priorities and work the business does to fulfill its social mission and deliver on its affordable housing with a priority focus on the Multifamily Business Unit. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The Environmental, Social and Governance - Portfolio Management - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities: * Work with a broad group of stakeholders to establish a strategic guide for business activities/priorities in support of Duty to Serve and ESG. * Drive impactful outcomes across affordable and social projects. * Review and analyze data collected by the team. * Collaborate with management to define the objectives of projects or products. * Refine goals, guidelines, objectives, and timelines with teams as needed. * Communicate impact of housing goals and duty to serve activities to FHFA and public * Engage with external affordable housing stakeholders to stay informed on market challenges, innovative solutions and to gather feedback that informs Fannie Mae's affordable strategy. Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Minimum Required Skills & Experiences * 4 years of experience, to include Multifamily origination, Multifamily underwriting or Multifamily risk management is required. * Experience setting or helping to develop business strategies to meet organizational goals * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing * Skills in relationship management, including managing, engaging, and influencing stakeholders, customers, and building relationship networks * Strong project management capabilities, including managing plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion * Depth of knowledge in Governance and Compliance including creating policies, evaluating compliance, conducting internal investigations, developing data governance, etc. * Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand * Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives Desired Skills & Experiences * Bachelor degree or equivalent * Experience defining KPIs and evaluating program, stakeholder, customer, and vendor performance against objectives * Demonstrated intellectual curiosity * Experience with Performance Measurement including evaluating programs, evaluating vendors, and defining and measuring KPIs * Passion for facilitating equitable and sustainable access to homeownership and quality affordable rental housing across America Additional Information REF ID: REF6244F The future is what you make it to be.
