Help us reach more patients by joining the Oncology Drug Discovery group, an early stage drug discovery team focused on understanding and exploiting the molecular mechanisms of novel cancer targets for the discovery, characterization and optimization of Oncology therapeutics. We are seeking a highly motivated, creative and collaborative molecular biologist scientist to join our team in a hands-on role to discover the next generation of innovative cancer treatments. Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to: * Participate in the design, development, characterization, implementation and validation of novel therapeutic concepts * Will work collaboratively with other specialists to develop project strategy, propose and implement creative solutions, execute and guide teams to success and decision points * Document, analyze, and interpret experiments, present results within a multidisciplinary team environment. [#video#https://youtu.be/B88bPEKkDI4{#400,300#}#/video#] What You Will Bring To The Role: * MS or BA/BS in Molecular biology, Genetics, or a related field with 3-5+ years of research experience with at least 1-2 years of industry experience. * Required: Direct experience with a wide range of basic molecular biology techniques (e.g. nucleic acid extraction, qPCR, plasmid assembly, western blotting etc.) * Required: Direct experience with mammalian cell culture, transfection, transduction (e.g. lentiviral) methods. * Preferred: Experience with CRISPR-based approaches * Previous experience with chromatin profiling approaches (e.g. ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq) is a PLUS * Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and present data in a clear manner and use data to generate new hypotheses. * An excellent team-player with strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with others.
