Summary: ATI Millersburg is hiring an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Process Leader for our facility located in Albany, Oregon. This is a day shift position that typically works 8 hours between 6:00 am - 6:00 pm. This position primarily has two functions: CERCLA/Superfund Coordinator and ISO Lead Auditor who will oversee the environmental management system. Primary responsibilities include compliance with local, state, & federal environmental and safety regulations, regulatory reporting, environmental operations assistance, ISO 14001 programs and lead auditor, life threat programs support, project management and continuous improvement. The EHS Process Leader will provide support to all ATI Specialty Alloys & Components facilities with primary responsibility for Millersburg, Oregon; and support function as needed at Huntsville, Alabama and Richland, Washington. In order to become successful and provide immediate impact, you will have to quickly learn ATI's processes and facilities, have auditor experience, work to a deadline, and be self-motivated. Attention to detail, a continuous improvement mindset, the ability to act quickly, and exceptional interpersonal skills are included in the skillset of a successful EHS Process Leader. Primary Responsibilities * CERCLA/Superfund program coordinator for ATI Millersburg. * Direct contractors in ground water monitoring and other cleanup project fieldwork. * Communicate with contractors on projects and environmental related issues within the plant. * Create data sets, review trend analysis, make recommendations to ATI CERCLA program manager based on analysis and implement improvements. * Setup monitoring equipment and conduct field investigations to determine sources and methods for controlling pollutants in the air, surface water, ground water and soil. * Review electronic and laboratory data to determine pollutant levels and compliance issues surrounding applicable regulations and permits. * Coordinate activities of CWE (intern) students, laboratory analyses and plant operations to fulfill permit requirements. * Manages the environmental audit program in conformance with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. * Coordinates with other Lead Auditors in the development, certification, maintenance and improvement of the SA&C IBMS system. * Safety program responsibilities as assigned, including Life Threat Program. * Additional environmental reporting or tasks as assigned, that may include air, industrial wastewater, storm water, waste compliance, SPCC and EPCRA regulations and permits. Requirements Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Safety, IH or closely related field and one year of work experience or an internship in an EHS function. * In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, Associates degree with 2 years of experience in EHS function will be considered. * The ability to wear a full-face respirator and pass respiratory fit test. * Have ISO 14001 Lead Auditor credentials; or be able to obtain within first year of employment. * Ability to pass 40 Hour Hazwoper training. Preferred Qualifications * Prior auditing experience. * Must demonstrate effective project management, conflict-resolution, analytical and PC-based data management skills, including Microsoft Office Suite of Applications and SharePoint. * Must have sound judgment and be able to plan, organize and control multiple activities within a team dynamic. * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to interact well with employees, contractors, consultants and agency representatives are essential. * It is ATI's policy to not provide immigration sponsorship for any of the company's positions.
