RES is currently accepting applications for a Project Manager I for Atlanta, GA and metropolitan area, reporting to a Sr. Project Manager. The Project Manager I supports Sr. Project Manager in delivering large and complex projects, including stream restoration, stream and wetland compensatory mitigation, on-time, within scope and within budget. This person will also coordinate internal and external resources for the successful execution of all project phases, develop project scopes, schedule, and costs, manages teaming agreements and consultants, and QA/QC.

  • Drives a project from conception to completion under guidance of the Sr. PM.
  • Develops a project budget, outline a project schedule and manages small to mid-size projects as appropriate.
  • Assists in projects evaluation / estimation based on an understanding of regulatory and/or technical requirements and financial metrics
  • Communicate with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams including sales, land, permitting, finance and construction teams.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in applied sciences, engineering, or similar field.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in an applied-sciences, engineering, or construction field.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience using project management and scheduling software is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience with technical and/or regulatory and financial fundamentals relevant to the project development.
  • Expeinerince in planning, scheduling, and executing the full range of project tasks on schedule and on budget for a variety of complex projects.
  • Experience in estimating and evaluating bids from subcontractors, and managing subcontractors.
  • Experience with budgeting and knowledge of POC.
  • Experience with evaluating projects based on an understanding of regulatory and/or technical requirements, financial metrics and constraints.
  • Experience with science, design and/or construction of stream restoration and / or wetlands.
  • Proficiency in geographic information systems and/or computer aided drafting and design.
