Senior Environmental Support Professional

Clover Leaf is looking for a Senior Environmental Support Professional to join our growing team in Albuquerque, NM. We are looking for people who can work as part of a team and individually.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

• Assist in compiling and reviewing environmental information and analyses required to prepare NEPA Checklists that assess relevant environmental issues.
• Ensure that the technical information and analysis used in NEPA reviews accurately reflects the operations and activities associated with the proposed action being reviewed.
• Support NEPA assurance processes including data evaluation and internal audit support.
• Monitor and evaluate any changes to federal, state, and local environmental laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relative to environmental planning and develop recommendations to meet changing environmental regulatory requirements.
• Prepare NEPA compliance documents that support client activities onsite or other facilities as required.
• Work with other department SMEs to ensure that Environmental requirements are integrated with environmental permits and requirements.
• Support document control and records management as appropriate.
• Coordinate the continued monitoring of client operations as they relate to the Site-Wide Environmental Impact Statement (SWEIS), including compiling and providing environmental and operational data on current operations to determine if they are still bounded by the SWEIS analysis

Qualifications we desire

• Bachelor's degree in an environmental, natural science, or related discipline.
• (3) to (5) years of relevant regulatory compliance and analysis experience.
• Proficiency with software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with diverse groups.
• Ability to understand scientific/technical work documentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance
