Overview
We are currently seeking a Junior Environmental Analyst to support our customer in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Environmental Compliance Program by conducting assessments, audits, and courtesy visits throughout the organization and subordinate units.
- Report and brief results and/or findings to environmental stakeholders and make recommendations to resolve inefficiencies.
- Assist the planning, curriculum development, and training execution with the organization's designated Environmental Representatives.
- Assist with the development, review and analysis of environmental products and deliverables.
- Perform historical research to determine root cause and assist in resolving environmental problems utilizing data collection and interpretation.
- Digitally organize and store environmental documentation to include training, and tracking of assessments, audits, and corrective actions.
- Must be able to work both independently, as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or other related Environmental specialty.
- 1-3 years of relevant work / job experience.
- Demonstrated experience in writing environmental technical reports.
- National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) experience, including Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), environmental compliance background (to include air quality) and experience conducting environmental site assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with U.S. Army Environmental Regulations (Environmental Data Base (AEDB) and the Environmental Performance Assessment System (EPAS))
- Professional certification in related environmental field
- HAZWOPER Training
- Software Application experience: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel to world-wide locations
