We are currently seeking an Ecotoxicologist for our Practice in Bellevue, WA office. In this role, you will work as part of a team to provide technical support on existing projects and business development efforts in the biological and ecological sciences. Areas of focus may involve environmental assessments, fisheries science, population biology, ecotoxicological studies, risk assessment, or resource damage assessment.
You will be responsible for:
Synthesizing technical information and applying creative and critical thinking to prepare and review reports and technical presentations
Developing and maintaining professional status by authoring peer-reviewed publications, participation in technical conferences, and activities of professional societies
Working cooperatively on projects with other members of the Ecological and Biological Sciences Practice and interdisciplinary groups from other Exponent practices as appropriate
You will have the following skills and qualifications:
Ph.D. plus at least one year of relevant experience in the area of Ecology, Ecotoxicology, Marine Biology or a related field
Experience working in terrestrial, freshwater, estuarine / marine systems
Experience evaluating the effects of physical, chemical, and/or biological stressors on populations, communities, and/or ecosystems
Experience managing tasks of moderate scope and complexity
Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects and tasks with competing deadlines, and communicate within multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrated ability in written and oral communications
Strong commitment to personal development
