Kelly Science & Clinical has a new contract opportunity for a Research Associate with a Biopharmaceutical company in Cambridge.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* 80% benchwork and 20% analyzing data, attending meetings/discussions, and maintaining electronic lab notebook
* Culture PBMCs, immune cell subsets, and maintain cell lines
* Perform multicolor flow cytometry and various immunoassays
* Organize and maintain inventory of lab supplies and equipment needed for experiments
* Assist with the Principal Investigator to design vectors and perform transfections and transductions
You are an excellent fit if you meet the following qualifications:
* MS in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or closely related discipline with 0-2 years' post graduate experience (OR BS in same disciplines with 2-4 years' experience)
* Must have in-depth knowledge and understanding of DNA/RNA/Protein interactions and solid foundation in aseptic techniques
* Experience with primary cell culture, flow cytometry, in vivo or in vitro, and/or T-cell, given preference
* Collaborative, problem-solving mindset with passion to learn and grow over time
* Thrives in a fast-paced, small-company environment
This position is slated as a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. Monday - Friday from ~9:00am - 5:00pm but can be flexible in start times as long as core business hours are supported.
